blogger's coffee morning

Blogger’s Coffee Morning

Hi everyone,

I am hosting a Blogger’s Coffee Morning with the object of getting fellow bloggers to interact and share their work.

All of you are doing this already by commenting on other blog posts but I thought this was a fun idea too. I borrowed the concept from The Little Mermaid who hosts a monthly tea party.

You Are Cordially Invited

Blogger's Coffee Morning

When you come to this party you have to bring along some stuff :

  • A short profile of you and your blog. I think around 100 words should be good.
  • A link to your latest or most representative blog post

Please leave the above two items in the comments section below.

Don’t feel restricted by the word “morning”

Anytime is fine.

At any given time, it is morning in some part of the world.

I will be very grateful if you shared this idea on your social media platforms.

Looking forward to seeing you and your posts.

As host, let me set the ball rolling :

Salted Caramel is a blog about you and me. It is a blog about continually re-inventing yourself, change being the only constant, and forwards the best way to go.

I continuously struggle to become a better version of myself. Salted Caramel is where I share my struggles with you so that you and I can become even better versions of our already awesome selves.

A post i would like you to check out:

  1. Hi looks like I am first to arrive that cake looks awesome… https://blondieaka.com/2018/11/06/eat-smart-eat-healthily-no-to-diets-2/

About me…Enjoying life in The Land Of Smiles I am having so much fun researching, finding new, authentic recipes both Thai and International to share with you. I love shopping at the local markets, finding fresh, natural ingredients, new strange fruits and vegetable ones I have never seen or cooked with. You will always get more than just a recipe from me as I love to research and find out what other properties the ingredients I use contain to improve our health and wellbeing.

Thank you for the invite I am now going to share on my social media 🙂 xx

I am a friend of Carol Taylor and I see she was very modest..she writes amazing cookery and food posts including one on my blog and in fact here is a link to her column yesterday. https://smorgasbordinvitation.wordpress.com/2018/11/07/smorgasbord-blog-magazine-the-food-and-cookery-column-carol-cooks-stir-fries/ I have been blogging for five years.. on health, food, humour and as a site to promote my own books and other authors. I have a virtual cafe and bookstore with over 150 authors and there are several promotions weekly. https://smorgasbordinvitation.wordpress.com/sallys-cafe-and-bookstore-free-author-promotion/ I would love a piece of cake and a coffee and will spread the news. thanks very much Sally

Although I am no great cook I love reading and writing about food so I find her articles very useful.
Her firm stand on food safety food waste and environment etc is admirable too.

I love reading your articles too.
      You have a great website.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
So glad you like the cake and coffee.

  3. I write about history with a little blogging/writing advice when inspired 🙂
My history posts range from Henry VIII to Harry Potter!
I keep my posts categorised so feel free to take a look. I’m sharing a piece I wrote last year (I literally fell out of the loft researching this – earned a month off work – not recommended, it was very painful!) it is very close to my heart and is about my teenaged uncle who died during WWII.

  6. Hello! Name is Sa for short and I’m the hostess of my online home, Culture Shocks, which is a baby blog born just few months ago! I brought some flowers for everyone to enjoy: https://theresaly520.wordpress.com/2018/11/08/flower-of-the-day-11-8-18/

I generally respond to various prompts shared by other veteran bloggers and explore a variety of concepts. I typically share my musings via fictional stories (Hot off the presses! Sacrifice:Burnt Offering – https://theresaly520.wordpress.com/2018/11/08/sacrifice-a-burnt-offering/), photos, poetry, and personal stories from my experiences, dreams, and travels. Future goals will include sharing my research from my studies, book reviews & reactions, abstract artwork, and my cooking/sewing adventures.

In the mean time, I am here to learn and grow from your experiences as a “baby” experiencing growth spurts should. I will gladly take a slice of that scrumptious cake now! Psst…do you have the recipe by any chance? 🙂

The cake is a free image I got off the web so no recipe I am afraid.

You will find as I did earlier this year that the WordPress community are a very friendly set of people.
When I began posting in January this year I met with a lot of encouragement and support from veteran bloggers

  7. I have just had a look at the posts from the bloggers who have already introduced themselves at this lovely coffee morning. What a lovely way to start the weekend!

I realize I am a bit late – but hope there will be more bloggers like myself who will visit over the weekend and introduce themselves….uh…I haven’t introduced myself yet! It is too early on a Saturday morning for me!

My site is Crushed Caramel – hopefully you will find my site to be full of light-hearted, joyful posts…with the occasional post about a situation that crushed me.

  8. Hi SaltedCaramel,

Thank you for inviting me to your coffee morning.

I started writing my blog after applying for the Great British Bake Off last year. Sadly I didn’t get all the way through the process, so I decided to set myself a challenge. I baked something from each show, putting my own twist on the recipes and then wrote a blog about how the bakes turned out. I also wrote about my thoughts on each episode and a little bit of personal stuff too.

I have really enjoyed reading all the blogs on the site. If you want to sample some of my writing here is one of mine.

Out of My Comfort Zone. xx

Sorry I’m new to all this and my Mac doesn’t want to paste the link from my blog!

  9. Thank you for hosting Blogger’s Coffee Morning. I certainly LOVE my morning coffee, but there was a time in June 2016 it was difficult for me to even lift my oversized purple coffee mug. My blog was created in March 2018 out of sheer frustration. I was at my wits end coping with a sudden change in my health a couple of years prior. My intense daily chronic pain forced me to find an outlet and I chose writing. I share my unique story coping with rheumatoid arthritis with other fun and uplifting stories along the way. This post may seem dark at first but I promise, my blog is NOT all gloom and doom. I did have my days though. This one tells the exact date that my coffee mug got heavy…so it fits this morning coffee blog to a tee…or “tea”! 🤔 I hope you enjoy, as I’m feeling much better these days. I appreciate you reading it…https://myalternateuniverseonline.wordpress.com/2018/05/08/a-fabled-illness/

We usually had German Shorthairs and we had one cat a Bengal named Kato after the Green Hornet sidekick as both like to province on the victins. I am 87 years young? I like plants and animals. I can read a book a day. I like cozy mysteries, animals you are looking for review of best sellers, I usually don’t read them. I write a review on everything read. I started doing them to give myself something to do
