A winter weekend is the best time to stay home. Lounging around in your favourite pyjamas reading a fast paced thriller or binge watching a TV show.
There are lots of fun things you can enjoy at home on a lazy winter weekend.
But your conscience or the voice of reason (both are equally annoying) keeps raising its ugly head.
It reminds you of the 101 commitments that you have made to various people so that you can no longer call this winter weekend your own.
What if you could come up with a convincing /guilt free excuse to stay home today?
Wouldn’t that be fun?
This has got to be your lucky day: I have come up with not one, but 10 excuses, that you can give to people or to your own guilt prone self.
1.I don’t feel like getting out of bed
2. Its cold outside
3.Its raining / snowing outside.
4.They just invited me as an afterthought
5.Why should I drive three hours in the snow just to hear her say, you’ve put on some weight dear
6.I don’t have anything to wear
7.I am under the weather
8.The dog / cat isn’t well.
9.My blog needs some attention
10.A road trip? In this weather? Are you out of your mind?
What do you think of my excuses?
Can you come up with more ideas?
Let’s see you get creative and list your reasons in the comments section below.
You could even list them in a new blog post of your own. Just remember to link back to me; it would work wonders for my stats.

I am more partial to autumn when I like being outdoors.
In winter I would rather hide away inside the house.

My street is in lock down, maniac/bear/lion escaped from zoo on the loose; everyone warned to lock up and stay indoors. Luckily electricity still on so reading, writing and television still possible.
