Yin and Yang,
Joy and sorrow,
Darkness and light.
Can one exist without the other?
Youth and age,
Friend and foe.
Bitter and sweet,
Black and white.
Contrasts stand out in bold relief !

I immediately thought of The Byrds song Turn,Turn,Turn and have copied two of the verses, slightly cheating on creative writing, I know! A time of love, a time of hate
A time of war, a time of peace
A time you may embrace
A time to refrain from embracing
To everything turn, turn, turn
There is a season turn, turn, turn
And a time to every purpose
