Share Your World is a fun challenge created by Melanie at sparksfromacombustiblemind. Do check out her blog for more fun stuff.
Here are this week’s questions and my answers:
Is it better to suspect something (bad or hurtful) and not know or to have your worst fears confirmed by sure knowledge?
I think it is better to have sure knowledge even if it is hurtful because then you will know how to react appropriately. Suspecting or fearing the worst is not a good place to be–it causes unnecessary stress.
What makes you laugh aloud? Crack up? Laugh until your sides split? When was the last time you had a great big belly laugh?
I love to laugh at many things : jokes, funny stories, anecdotes, funny shows and movies. I don’t mind laughing at myself.
Depending on the degree of humour I do laugh out loud and sometimes reach the stage of tears running down my face. I have never rolled on the floor with laughter yet—but there is always a first time. The last time I had a sidesplitting laugh was only this morning when my daughter used a very funny malapropism.
Do you suppose Noah had woodpeckers in the ark? If he did, where did he keep them? Apologies to the Darwinians in the crowd…this is merely for fun, okay?
If there were woodpeckers in the ark, they must have been very well behaved ones who kept their beaks firmly under control.
Why is “Charlie” short for “Charles when they are the same number of letters?
Probably because Charlie sounds cute and diminutive. Sometimes Chuck is used as short for Charles—Charlie Brown in the Peanuts cartoons is sometimes called Chuck.
Thankful, Joyful, Grateful
What happened in your world this past week that made you feel thankful, joyful or grateful?
A chronic sufferer from headaches, I have had very few episodes in the past two weeks. The ones I did get were very short lived. I am really grateful for this since I got a lot done.
A lovely share Your World!

Thanks Tanya for Sharing Your World! I liked your answers, they were sensible and showed a good deal of common sense…and I really admire those who can laugh at themselves. It shows a good depth of character IMHO! 🙂
