A grimace,
A scowl,
A furrowed brow,
Can sometimes do more harm than words.
Conveying disgust, displeasure, disapprobation,
Expressions and gestures have great power.
They can hurt, annoy, offend.
Be careful, my friend !

Yeah I have this problem. My face looks contorted and angry and upset but it’s because I am trying to figure out something and wresting with my emotions. Then people make the wrong conclusion regarding me and write me off to being a bitter old man. Definitely don’t have a poker face lol.

I can totally relate to this.
I tend to frown when thinking or concentrating but it makes people including my family think I am angry.

So true!! I’m naturally very expressive – which is not always helpful lol 😜 They say we communicate mostly through non verbal signals and body language and I believe that’s true – words are easy to fake – body language isn’t so easy to control – subtle signs always seep through 😊
