Liebster Blogger Award

How exciting! I have been nominated by undercoversuperhero for The Liebster Award.

The Liebster Award is an award that exists only on the internet and is given to bloggers by other bloggers. The earliest case of the award goes as far back as 2011.

Liebster is not a English word, it is a German word. In German means sweetest, kindest, nicest, dearest, beloved, lovely, kind, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing, and welcome.

Do you treat others better than yourself?

Sometimes. No, make that most of the time.

Do you give second chances?

Oh yes! I give second and even third chances to people as well as to myself. I think the same mistake can be allowed only upto a few times. More than that means that it is a habit and should not be tolerated.

Have you ever met someone famous?

Yes, I have met people who are famous. One example is author Moni Mohsin who has written Diary of a Social Buttefly.

Do you follow trends or start them?

Both, in my younger days; now, less often.

When was the last time you surprised yourself?

I wrote a post which I did not think was very good. But I published it nevertheless. I was really surprised when it gained many more likes and coments than ever.

What’s something tiu enjoy the old fashioned way?

Tea, muffins and cucumber sandwiches.

Do you remember The Powerpuff Girls? If so, who was your favourite?

Of course! I watched them with my kids. My favourite was Buttercup.

Do you have a favourite flower?

Roses, there are so many different kinds and so many different colours.

Do you find writing therapeutic?

Very much so. I wrote a whole post about it : I will post the link here.

What was the best question you’ve ever been asked?

“How about a nice cup of tea?”

Which tongue-twister is the hardest for you? For example, red lorry, yellow lorry! Or, she sells sea shells on the sea shore! Or, shut up the shutters and sit in the shop! There are loads more!

These are all easy enough when you take them slowly. When you try to say them faster, they get jumbled up and it is hard to get your tongue around them.

Two of my favourites are:

BettyBotter bought a bit of bitter butter.

and

PeterPiper picked a peck of pickled pepper.
