Melanie C., of “Sparks From a Combustible Mind”, is back this Monday with a new set of questions for us.
Welcome to November!
Suggestions for Responding:
- Create a SYW post. Then post the link to your blog in my comment box or leave your answers in the comments box of my blog.
- To make it easy for others to check out your post, title your blog post “Share Your World” and link it to this post.
- If you’d like, remember to follow my blog to get your weekly reminders.
- Ping-backs are activated, but how efficiently varies. For instructions on how ping-backs work, in case you weren’t certain, please click here. You may wish to leave a link to your blog post in the comments just to be sure. Thanks!
What is the meaning of true love?
I think it means selflessness and sacrifice. If true love waits to be reciprocated, then I don’t think it would be very true.
Do acts of kindness have a motive?
By definition, I think true acts of kindness should not have a motive. Then again, if someone does something kind but has a motive for doing so, I don’t think the act becomes less kind.
If we live in a civilized world why do we see so many distinctions between rich and poor?
Hmmm. But is this world truly civilized ?
Do we love ourselves more in the virtual world than in the real world?
I think the real me is quite close to the blogger me. Although I have some social media accounts, I am not active on them at all so I suppose I don’t really have a persona in the virtual world.
In my opinion, most of today’s questions could not have answers in black and white. That is why most of my responses are in the gray zone.
Are you grateful?
On this I am very clear. I am very grateful all the time, every day of my life.
During good times, I am grateful of course. In difficult times, I am grateful for the ability of being able to live through them; you could say that gratitude is my coping mechanism.
