My First Barnabas Award

Sadje of Keep It Alive has nominated me for my first Barnabas Award..

Please check out her blog, there is something for everyone and you will really enjoy the way she writes..

You have been chosen for this recognition because of the encouragement and inspiration you bring to your readers.

The way this works:

Thank the person who nominated you, and share their blog.

Think of five bloggers that encourage and inspire you and nominate them.

List five things about yourself.

Lastly, ask your nominees five questions. Why five? Because is the number that signifies grace.

Thank you Sadje

Questions;

How important it is to reinforce self belief in oneself and others?

To believe in oneself is a great quality and forms the basis for all good character traits. Those who can foster this belief in others are truly great as this is the best gift.

What inspires you on a daily basis?

The beauties of nature are truly inspiring: trees, flowers, sunsets, rainbows, cloud formations and many others.

How can we inspire our young generation to do the right thing for our planet?

The best way of teaching is by example and this works particularly well for parents teaching their children.

What do you think about teaching moral and ethical values to our children in schools?

Ethics and morality must occupy a prominent position on the school curriculum

What is more important in life, intelligence or hard work?

Hard work is definitely more important since without it, intelligence is useless.

Five things about me :

1. Reading is my favourite form of relaxation.

2. My favourite season is fall.

3. I love to travel but with all creature comforts. No backpacking for me.

4. Although I have a good memory in general I find it very difficult to remember the directions to various places.

5. I love the WordPress community and the friends I have made here.

I am gifting this award to:

All you wonderful bloggers out there. Please answer the above questions if you choose to accept this gift.

    1. I think it should have a name : this failure to follow and remember directions . How about you think up a creative one?
I have an above average memory for many other things.

How are you at math? I was very poor but managed in school through sheer effort.

      Btw
We also share a love of cats although I don’t have one at present.

And thanks for the congrats. 🐱
