Myself
I tend to be absent minded, especially when preoccupied. This leads to situations that provide a lot of comic relief. I love narrating stories of my “misdemeanors” in person as well as in my posts. A favourite is when I “misplaced” a mug of hot tea and then went all over the house looking for it; I later found it in a cupboard that I had been tidying.
My Family
Thankfully, most members of my family share my sense of humour. We love watching funny shows together. My kids love to recount anecdotes of my absent mindedness. I was half asleep when my phone rang. My daughter was in the room. She says, I let the phone lie and reached for my glasses instead, put them on and said,”Hello” in an attempt to answer the phone. This might not seem so funny written down but she has people in peals of laughter when she relates it.
Problems
One of my talents is my ability to see the funny side of everything. This includes troubles and problems. I don’t trivialize serious issues but seeing the lighter side of things helps me cope with them.
Humorous Content
This one’s a no brainer. Like everyone, I enjoy funny movies, comedy shows and cartoons. In the busiest part of my life, I used to watch rom coms (romantic comedies) to relax.
“Cute-ness”
I am just as susceptible as the next person to cute pictures and videos of babies, both human and animal . A cute kitten meme can draw a chuckle from me every time.
Like Uncle Albert, the character in Mary Poppins, I just love to laugh. So there are many more things that can bring on the giggles. These were just five of them.
How about you? I would love to know what makes you laugh.

This came up in “memories” on Facebook today (from 2012)
Hubby: ” It’s not easy being married to a genius” Me: ” Oh hon, I’m far from being a genius” Hubby: ” I was talking about me” :0 🙂
My husband can be a real clown, and makes me laugh a lot. A good sense of humour is an absolute must to get through the challenges in life. I love to laugh, too.

That is a really funny anecdote and quite typical of hubbies.
A sense of humour really helps through ups and downs.

There are so many funny things one can share with family.
Besides, family and close friends have the same outlook as one’s own so maybe they find the same things funny.
Thanks for stopping by.

I guess pets can be counted as part of the family so that’s similar to mine.
My daughter used to have two beautiful Persian long haired cats. Their antics were very funny too. 🐺💕

I was raised with many cats. My mother collected them, I think. Cats are hysterically funny. 🐈

They sure are.
We had one who would get annoyed if she felt ignored and would steadfastly ignore everyone if she was annoyed.
