The lockdown is a hiatus in everyone’s life. It is an enforced sabbatical for some. For others, it is an overly busy period of working from home while caring for family. Life as you knew it, is on hold.
You are basically in a period of waiting. It is something like waiting in an airport lounge while your flight is delayed again and again.
You can either spend this time pacing up and down in frustration OR you can use this time to catch up on your reading/email/social media and any number of other activities. The choice is yours.
“When fishermen cannot go to sea, they repair their nets.”
I found this quote about fishermen repairing their nets on social media. It seemed so apt for using the lockdown time positively. This is such a great time for trying all those changes / improvements that you always wanted to do but never had time or energy for.
QUESTION
What are you doing to ‘repair’ (re-vamp or update) yourself and your blog during the lockdown?
MY ANSWER
The extra time available due to staying home during the lockdown can be channeled towards “repairing” many areas of your life including yourself, your home and your blog. At the beginning of the lockdown in my city, I wrote down my goals for the first two weeks and you can take a look at them here.
At home, I did a lot of long pending decluttering. In my personal life, I made a new habit : a forty minute walk five times a week (I do it in two parts of twenty minutes each).
This was a good time for a re-vamping or overhauling of my blog. So far, I have only managed to post more than I used to do.
There are many more things that I would like to do to update my blog, some of them being :
Update my home page,
Go through as any old posts that I can, checking them for typos or other errors,
Schedule some posts so I can stay ahead of myself.
Okay ! That was my bit, now I would really like to read what you think.
You can let me know in the comments section, or you can create your own post in answer to my question.

I must be the only person out there that doesn’t have some sort of “upgrading plan” in place.
A great thing to be considering though. Here is what we’re up to.

Your not having a “plan for the pandemic ” probably means that you are gainfully employed already.
Thanks for participating 💐

http://sparksfromacombustiblemind.com/2020/05/04/blogging-insights-pass-the-glue/ is my contribution. I had no plan for the pandemic. Who knew it was coming? I suck at planning ahead in non-urgent situations, the situation becoming urgent didn’t change it. Thanks for the intriguing question, Dr. Tanya! 🙂
