- I asked this on an award thingie I was nominated for, and I got such interesting responses, I thought I’d ask it on Share Your World too: Do you have a favorite kind of tree?
I love big leafy and shady trees. One of my favourites is the peepal tree with its beautiful heart shaped leaves.
- What bridges are you happy you burned?
Some toxic people made my life difficult for many years. Luckily I have finally managed to distance myself from them and consequently am very happy.
- Would you sacrifice yourself (die) for a stranger?
Quite frankly, I am not really sure. I think it would depend on the particular circumstances.
- How have your priorities changed since the C-19 virus took over?
My priorities have not changed; they have been re-inforced by the pandemic. My priorities are my family and their well being.

Great questions, I have burned similar bridges and never look back. I find most people are really wonderful, but some are toxic. I know they are hurting, but they are also the people who seem to think they are perfectly okay and do nothing to help themselves. Life is too short to get tangled up in their toxicity. I say prayers for the particular individuals, but for my own happiness and sanity I do not engage them; do not visit them; do not have a relationship of any kind with them.

Er, Pee PAL tree…. What was I thinking? A funny name I heard for one’s grandfather was pee paw (not my own grandfather(s) mind you. I’d have been told to keep quiet. I didn’t know either of my grandfathers all that well.

I can realise the unfortunate conclusion that the name of the tree brings forth.
To set your mind at rest, the pronunciation is pee pul (as in hull )
I haven’t heard of any pee paws yet though grannies are sometimes called mee maw
