Welcome to Share Your World! I will post four or five different questions each week for you to answer. There are two ways which you can participate. Create a Share Your World post. Then post the link to that blog post or leave your answers in the comments box of my blog. To make it […]

What’s something you really resent paying for?

I strongly resent having to pay someone back for unkind deeds or words. My resentment in this direction is so great that I end up never making this “payback” at all.

What was the most unsettling film you’ve seen?

I try my best to steer clear of horror movies as well as the currently popular dystopian future movies. However, ages ago , I was persuaded by someone to watch the movie “Sixth Sense”. I found it quite unsettling and was “haunted” by some of the scenes for quite sometime afterwards.

Do you judge people?

I try my best not to, but I am only human so I think I do at times. When finding myself critical of someone’s thoughtless words or behaviour, I try my best to find an excuse that may exonerate them.

Finish this sentence: “Back in my day, we…”?

There are so many ways that I could finish this but I will choose a very simple one :

“Back in my day we did not have remote controls for our devices. We actually had to walk across the room to the T.V. to change the channel or to the air conditioner to change the temperature. Consider the amount of labour involved. Those were barbaric times.”

Please feel free to share an uplifting photo, thought or meme to show your own gratitude. We can all use some good vibes!

I am grateful for this set of questions provided by Melanie every week. They are fun to answer and I look forward to reading the responses of my blogging friends too.

  1. Yeah, walking over to turn up the volume or change the channel, and the duty usually fell to the youngest in the room.
I liked sixth sense, though I had to see it twice to get it! 😂

  2. Thanks Dr. Tanya for Sharing Your World! Indeed the amount of effort involved in walking across the room or having to turn a dial was onerous. I’m shocked sometimes that we survived it.. 😆 Thank you so much for the lovely compliment too. It’s fun to find new questions each week, and I’ve loved making up banners for the challenge. It’s very rewarding! 🙂 Have a great week!
