How curious are you?

I guess I would register as “average” on a “curiometer”. While I am not the proverbial cat who would be killed by curiosity, I do like to discover new things .

 

If you are not a curious as a person … why not? If you are, what do you love about curiosity?

Remember Alice in Wonderland who kept at it when things got “curiouser and curiouser”? She got into a lot of trouble due to her curiosity. Alice can be excused due to her tender age, and of course due to the requirements of the story. I would never eat or drink something if I did not know its antecedents. Having said that, I am always up for trying new cuisines. I make sure that they have no forbidden (according to my faith) ingredients in them. 

 

Finally, do you consider there to be a huge difference between a curious person and a nosey parker?

Oh yes! There is a tremendous difference between a nosey parker and a curious person. A nosy parker, by definition, pokes his / her unwanted nose into other people’s business. On the other hand, a genuinely curious person satisfies curiosity without giving offence and without violating anyone’s personal space.
