5 Things That I Simply Adore About Blogging

Writing

The best thing about blogging is the writing part : creating content, There is something therapeutic about putting down words and thoughts . Whenever I feel a little low I get writing and type those blues away.

 

Images

The next best thing that I like about blogging is adding images to my posts. I have not added any photos or images of my own yet. I rely on free images available on the web. Selecting, editing and positioning the images between the text is a lot of fun. It is so much fun that I usually get carried away and spend much more time over this than I had intended.

 

Feedback

Many, many moons ago, I used to freelance for the Tuesday Review of a daily newspaper. This was in print of course since those were the days before the internet (I am a dinosaur, I admit). The only feedback I ever got was from family and friends. I did not set too much store by it since I thought they were just being nice. With blogging, I tremendously enjoy the almost instant feedback in the comments section.

 

Interaction

I launched my blog during a sabbatical from work. The interaction in the comments section of my own as well as other blogs provided the camaraderie of my colleagues that I was missing. 

 

Information

The Word Press reader is a great source of information, especially about trending topics. It keeps me abreast of what is happening in the world as well as what people think about it. This is a good source of ideas and inspiration for my own posts too.
