Once you make a WordPress account and launch your blog, you become entitled to some WordPress features. Some of these work on the free plan while others can only be accessed on the paid WordPress plans. Today we discuss their usefulness or otherwise.
TODAY’S QUESTIONS
How helpful did you find the WordPress tutorials on blogging?
Did you contact the WordPress support staff (Happiness Engineers), if that was included in your plan, and what was your experience with them?
MY ANSWERS
How helpful did you find the WordPress tutorials on blogging?
Fairly helpful. My problem was that I had not realised that WordPress had its own guidelines and “How to” videos. I watched a lot of YouTube videos on blogging some good and some atrocious before I launched my blog.
By the time I found out about the WordPress tutorials I had already learned the hard way. I wish I had known about them in the beginning.
Did you contact the WordPress support staff (Happiness Engineers), if that was included in your plan and what was your experience with them?
I contacted them several times in the beginning and got prompt and helpful responses. Initially, I wasted a lot of time researching themes, many of which were not compatible with the Plan I had chosen. A Happiness Engineer finally helped me pick my theme which I am still using.
Okay, that was my bit; now I would love to read your views.
You could share them in the comments section below.
Better still, why not write a post of your own about this? Just remember to tag it

Not quite one I can get a whole post out of today, so I’ll just leave my answers here.
In regards to the first question: Tutorials? What tutorials? WordPress has Tutorials?
In regards to the last question: Considering I’m using the free plan, I seriously doubt it’s included in my plan, but I probably wouldn’t have ever used it, anyway.

Tutorials- maybe I used the wrong word. WordPress has some how to videos. I meant those.

Tutorials, how-tos, instructions, whatever you wish to call them, I figured WordPress had such things, but I never even bothered to figure out how to get to them, much less actually look at them. I was just being an intelligent donkey with my reply.
