5 Things – that you do to reduce stress and anxiety

The 5 Things tag keeps surfacing on WordPress. I am not sure who first thought of it but I have always found it fun to do. I thought “Why not make it a weekly feature?” If you participate in a post of your own please tag it #5things. Here is my contribution to this week’s 5 Things :

5 steps you can take to reduce the stress in your life:

1. Regret nothing.

2. Be grateful for all that you have and all that you can do.

3. Stay away from toxic people.

4. Recognise negative emotions and let go of them.

5. Raise your hopes but lower your expectations.

I try to practise these tips but need to remind myself of them constantly.
