Share Your World Meets Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

  1. Harry Potter can speak to snakes. If you were able to have conversations with any one animal, what animal would you like to speak to? What would be the topic of your first conversation?

I have often thought that I would like to talk to cats. They look so reflective and philosophical as they sit with their tales curled around their paws. I always wonder what they are thinking and that would be the topic of my first conversation.

2. The portraits in Hogwart’s dormitories can talk. If your graduation portrait could speak to people passing it by, what would it tell them?

It would probably say something like, “It wasn’t so difficult; anyone can graduate !”

3.Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger use the Pollyjuice Potion for finding new clues for the happenings at Hogwarts. (The Pollyjuice Potion is a magic potion that allows your body to form into that of another and live their life for a few hours.) If you could transform into another being, who would you chose to be? What would you hope to learn?

I would transform into someone who makes clever comebacks and learn to come up with them spontaneously. It is only too late of when I realise what I should have said in a difficult situation.

4.There was a flooding in the girl’s bathroom where Moaning Myrtle resides. What has been the most dangerous (or comical) ‘flooding’ where you reside?

It was not life-threatening, but our books were in danger of getting wet when our study was flooded during some particularly heavy monsoons.

Mundane or “Muggle” Questions:

(Serious one which is rather creepy):  How do you think you’ll die?  IF you do think about it?

I don’t know how I will die but I would like it to be “quick and painless”; I mean I would love to go without suffering pain or loss of dignity.

What’s the best on-line screen name you’ve seen? “Best might mean the oddest.

When I first launched my blog, I wanted to stay anonymous so I put down Salted Caramel as my user name too. I found it pretty odd when people started addressing me as Salted in comments etc. I quickly reverted to my own name.

What’s invisible that you wish people could see?

Deceit is usually invisible, I think by definition. I wish people could see it and not be taken in.

If over time you replace parts on a car, at what point does it stop being the same car you bought? How many parts do you need to replace to make it a new car?

I am not very well versed in car parts, but I think it would stay the same car you bought as long as the body(I think I mean exterior) did not change. You could change parts all you liked inside; who would notice?

For the next several weeks “Share Your World” will have two parts. The awesome blogger, Roger Shipp, is the creator and host (if you will) of the first part. He found a unique way of passing some of the quarantine time and that was from watching ALL the “Harry Potter” movies. He came up with […]

  1. Thanks Dr. Tanya for Sharing Your World! Cats are the leading favorite this week for animals to speak too (I’m including the one blogger who would like to be able to speak to lionesses). I’m probably one of those guilty of calling you “Salted”, because I never know how to address the so-called ‘stealth’ blogger. I hope I was polite if one of the people were me doing that! Deceit would be a wonderful thing to be able to see, might save on a lot of problems! Have a great week!
