MY  ANSWERS

  1. What’s the best joke you’ve ever heard?

“The corona virus is a figment of our imagination”

2.What was your favourite age growing up?

Forty — I found it a most empowering and liberating age. Things I had worried about a lot before no longer seemed so important.

3.What was the last book you read?

“The Firm” by John Grisham.

4.Camping or Glamping?

I can’t live without creature comforts so I would choose glamping over camping anytime.

5. Do you have any pet peeves?

My pet peeves are innumerable and keep undergoing modifications. But I don’t like to air them too often — i wouldn’t want to be labelled “peevish” would I ?

6.What’s one thing that can make your day instantly better?

Many things : a favourite song, an unexpected phone call or visit from a friend, a rainbow, a sunset and lots of other little joys.

7.Which meal is your favourite: breakfast, lunch, or dinner?

A good cup of tea and a snack are my favourite meal; I would pick this any time of the day.

8.Why?

Why not?

9.Were you close with your family growing up?

Very close.

10.Do you ever wish you were raised differently?

Not really. i am glad to have the values my parents taught me. I must admit, however, that sometimes I wish they had brought me up to be a bit more worldly wise or street smart. But how could they have taught me something they didn’t know themselves.

11.Who in your family would you describe as a “character”?

Myself !

12. How old were you when you had your first flight?

I was nine years old and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

13. What is your favourite colour?

Hot pink or fuschia.

14. Housework: do you prefer to hoover or dust?

Hoovers for floors, dusting for other stuff.

15. Do you have a garden?

I do, and consider myself quite fortunate since I live in a big city.

16. What is your favourite vegetable?

The humble potato is my favourite; there are so many yummy things you can make with it.

17.What is your taste in music?

My taste in music keeps evolving. I used to like pop music only but have now graduated to jazz.

18.Do you play an instrument?

I don’t yet but learning to play the piano (electronic keyboard) is on my bucket list.

19.Are you an only child?

Nope; but I am an only daughter.

20.Are you in touch with any of your school friends?

Several. before the pandemic, we used to meet up every couple of months and sometimes more.

I enjoyed answering these questions. Why don’t you have a go? I would love to read your responses.
