Do you enjoy skiing or ice skating or if it’s warm where you are, hiking or enjoying outdoor sports?

We never get snow or ice even on coldest winter days. I am not a “sporty” person but I enjoy taking short walks.

Do you give to charities or homeless that you might encounter, during this time of year, more than you do otherwise?

I give to some charities regularly, every month throughout the year. Over Eid, which is my religious festival , I give a little more.

What is the most enjoyable activity you engage in during December?  Is it a tradition for you and your family?

During the December holidays we take a four or five day holiday out of town.

What changes will C-19 bring to your festive celebrations this year?

This year, due to the pandemic restrictions, we will not be taking the holiday I have mentioned above.

  1. What a lovely wish! We’re all hoping (wishing) for the same things, particularly an end to C-19. Thank you so much Dr. Tanya, for Sharing Your World with everyone today! Now I’m off to learn a bit about your holiday festival, which is a new one for me! Blessings!

    1. My holiday festivals are called Eid and since they are celebrated according to the lunar calendar they fall on different dates every year.
This time one, which is called Eid ul Fitr, and is celebrated at the end of the holy month of Ramadan , fell in May.
The other one, Eid ul Azha, was celebrated in July this year .
