5 Unputdownable Books

There are some books that hold you in their grip, making you devour page after page until you reach the end. Usually it is crime thrillers that are page turners but fantasy fiction is a close second.

Today I ask you to share five books that compelled you to keep on reading “way past your bedtime”. Here is my list :

Gone With the Wind by Margaret Mitchell

The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides

Angels and Demons by Dan Brown

Roots by Alex Haley

A Slow Fire Burning by Paula Hawkins

I could name scores of others but convention allows only five.

What are 5 of your favourite page turners? I would love to know.

You can leave a reply in my comments section. Better still, why not write a post of your own? Just remember to tag it #5things

  1. Absolutely agree with Angles and Demons, I also found The Shinning (Stephen King), The Labyrinth of the Spirits (Carlos Ruiz Zafon), Dark Shores (Danielle Jensen) it is a YA book, His Majesty’s Dragon (Naomi Novik), Just One Damned Thing After Another (Jodi Taylor)
