There are some books that hold you in their grip, making you devour page after page until you reach the end. Usually it is crime thrillers that are page turners but fantasy fiction is a close second.
Today I ask you to share five books that compelled you to keep on reading “way past your bedtime”. Here is my list :
Gone With the Wind by Margaret Mitchell
The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides
Angels and Demons by Dan Brown
Roots by Alex Haley
A Slow Fire Burning by Paula Hawkins
I could name scores of others but convention allows only five.
What are 5 of your favourite page turners? I would love to know.
You can leave a reply in my comments section. Better still, why not write a post of your own? Just remember to tag it #5things
Sidney Sheldons “The Other Side of Midnight” is in my top five

I enjoyed Master of The Game and couldn’t put that down, but I’d forgotten it for my top 5.

I agree that Sydney Sheldon ‘s plot twists are quite unputdownable.

Someone started writing in his style after his death but I can’t recall the name.

I remember that too, but not who. I don’t think I read anything though.

It is truly unputdownable so I suggest you begin it over a weekend.
