Share Your World

Melanie of sparksfromacombustiblemind gives us a set of questions every week. Some are funny , some are serious, but they are always thought provoking.

QUESTIONS

How did you spend the money from your very first job?

It was so long ago that I may not correctly remember. I used to be very much into fashion, clothes, shoes, jewellery etc so it must have been something like that. I do remember spending something on meds for poor patients too.

Would You Rather Look Like A Potato, Or Feel Like A Potato?  (Note.  I have no idea why they used the word “potato”, but just went with it.  Answer any way you like, this question is purely for un)

Who would want to look like a potato? I don’t really know how and when you feel like a potato. When you’re lazy , as in couch potato?

What were the best pair of shoes you have owned?

A very smart yet very comfortable pair of medium heel wedge sandals that I wore in 1993. I was expecting my eldest and also working full time. These sandals were practical, yet looked nice with every outfit.

I wish I could find something similar now.

Besides war and diplomacy, what would be the best way for countries to settle disputes?

Some kind of competition, like sports or arts or essay writing. Even debates or speech competitions would do. Much safer and cheaper than war, don’t you think?

GRATITUDE SECTION (AS ALWAYS, OPTIONAL)

In these often depressing times, how do you find the bright spots?

I feel that a sense of humour can see you through the worst times. Being able to laugh at a difficult situation is one of my strengths and I value it most.
