I began the Blogging Insights prompt more than three years ago. At that time it had a Q and A format inspired by Rory Matier’s ‘Blog Series Questions’ and Fandango’s FPQ (Fandango’s Provocative Question).
Blogging Insights was my first attempt at running a prompt, and I was pleasantly surprised that it took off. We discussed many topics relating to blogging/writing. I learned a lot from seasoned bloggers who wrote posts in response.
A couple of years down the line, l grew bored with the format. I started posting a quote every week, gave my own opinion of it and asked other bloggers for their thoughts.
After 65 episodes of the quote format, I’ve decided to change things again. I’m thinking of doing a ‘mixed bag’ this time. It will be quotes some weeks and questions for others. Maybe some episodes could be a single topic for general discussion.
What do you think ? I would love to know.
Advice on questions or topics to be discussed is very welcome. I look forward to your feedback in the form of comments or new posts.
I think mixing things up is quite a good idea. Gives us more to think about.

I think if you’ve grown weary of posting quotes about writing or blogging and mixing things up a bit would be good. Maybe change the name of the series from “Blogging Insights” to “Monday’s Mixed Bag.”

I still want to continue posting about blogging and writing. I just want to mix up the format.

I think you should do whatever turns your lights on. Those of us who have been doing this for a long time — I’ve been doing this longer than any job I worked while employed! — need to do whatever we can to keep from getting too bored to keep going. So you do whatever works for you and I’ll follow along. With pleasure.

That is very sweet.
What’s the update on your iron treatment?

I am impatiently waiting for them to call me back with an actual appointment. Hospitals are still very crowded, so a lot of “non-critical” treatments get delayed, but sometimes too long. I’ll give them till the beginning of next week and then I will call again.
