- What two totally normal things become really weird if you do them back to back?
- A full meal followed by a car ride on a mountain road. Trust me, you would feel really weird.
- What is something that you just recently realized that you are embarrassed by, that you didn’t realize embarrassed you?
- This is a story that my husband loves to tell. We were shopping for clothes for him at the end of a strenuous day. As I sat and waited in the shop while he was in the fitting room I dozed off with my head between my knees.
- If Australia (including New Zealand and Tasmania – which I KNOW are different countries); the UK, Ireland, Germany, the USA, and Brazil or Italy were represented by one food, which would it be for each?
- Australia Cheese, UK Fish & chips, USA Burgers, Italy Pizza.
- What might happen if Goldilocks and the Three Bears were set in modern times?
- They would order Pizza instead of wondering who ate their porridge.
GRATITUDE SECTION:
If you celebrate it, how was your Mother’s Day? What did you do? If you don’t (because you’re a single guy or it’s not in your culture) please share something fun you did recently.
This evening my husband, kids and I were in different places. I made a group call on WhatsApp and spoke to everyone simultaneously. Although the technology is nothing new it still made me grateful.

I agree with your first response about eating a full meal and driving through a curving road.

Case in point, a full BBQ meal at Manaal Hill top followed by the twisty drive down.
I have never made the attempt but I know of people who have.

Going down isn’t as bad as going up. I don’t suffer from motion sickness but one of my kids did. 😱

Thank you Tanya for Sharing Your World! On my honeymoon we drove to Carmel, California. Along the coastal road. I didn’t feel weird, I got sick and had to buy Dramamine (motion sickness pills). It still makes me queasy to think of it. It is wonderful that you got to spend a little time with your family, even though it was virtual. Amazing technology is available to us now! 🙂 Great answers to all the questions too! Have a splendid week!

It’s always a lot of fun doing SYW.
I have been so caught up with family stuff in the past few months that I have not been able to post and comment much.
My daughter is like you. She sometimes gets very car sick on road trips.

Fell asleep – hahahha. I live in the mountains and there are mountain roads and there are MOUNTAIN ROADS. I stay off MOUNTAIN ROADS as I won’t have a full stomach for long.
