TODAY’S QUOTE

TODAY’S QUOTE
” I think I am about 5 for 500 when it comes to successful ideas versus flops. “
MY THOUGHTS
Before I go any further, I would like to elaborate on ‘successful’. Does a successful idea mean one that materialises into something tangible, such as a post? Or is a successful idea one that is a hit with readers or audiences etc?
If we call an idea successful when it makes the transition from a vague notion in my head to an actual post, my ratio would be around 5 to 50. Going by the tougher yardstick of measuring success by reader opinion then I may go with the ratio of 5 to way more than 500.
I would like to end with another quote
” An idea, unless followed up by action, is just a dream. “
What do you think ? I would love to know.

Better still, why not write a post of your own?
Just remember to tag it #blogginginsights
Here’s mine (I combined the two)

Aren’t all ideas dreams? I try to meassure success by the the notion to post ratio. If we gage success by user reaction, etc no one but influencers would write blogs.
